Chapter 1: Built in 2007, the Manali is the brainchild of a mountain dweller and a businessman who share a passion for high-altitude destinations, in particular in the Himalayas. Deeply rooted in the mountain, and yet inviting guests on a journey, this five-star hotel is a place made of contrasts: inside it resembles a traditional Savoyard chalet, and on the outside, it hints at the influence of Indian temples and monasteries. This Indian influence is even seen in the hotel's emblem, which is an elephant. 
Chapter 2: In January 2019, the Alpine Collection group acquired the premises, giving the establishment a new lease of life and preserving its architecture and visual identity. At the Manali, the 38 hotel rooms were turned into 18 luxury suites, each of which is unique and features its own interior. The new Manali Lodge was inaugurated in December 2019.
Today, the hotel rises from its ashes and the adventure continues...
